Art Gallery "U Řečických" is situated in Vodičkova street in centre of Prague on the first floor of Gothic building in original, which is protected by The National Monument Authority of The Czech Republic.
The first reference about this house comes from the time of Charles IV. from year 1377.
Vodičkova street is a flowline among the Prague centre, Wenceslas Square which is 250 meters far and approximatly 1 kilometre southwards located Charles Square. Vodičkova street is very frequented by foreign tourists who wanted to see New Town Hall on Charles Square which is a little bit infamous for so-called "defenestration". This event is described also by foreign school books. Defenestration happened during wars of Hussites in 1419 when governors were thrown out of the windows of the New Town Hall by tempestuous Prague people.
Later, Jindřich Řečický had become the owner of the house who was executed after lost battle on White Hill in 1621 on the Old Town Square.
